Dr. Will Kuhn is the director of science and research at Discover Life in America. Although native to the coastal plains of East Texas, he has lived in or near the Appalachian Mountains for the past 12 years, earning his master’s in entomology at Virginia Tech and his PhD in evolutionary biology at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Day to day, he enjoys learning a little bit more about the magnificent flora and fauna of East Tennessee and especially the Smokies.
