Bed bug infestations are difficult to detect and very time consuming process. Pest control operators use dogs or trained technicians to detect and monitor bed bug infestations. However, the results are highly variable, call backs and missing infestations are common leading to additional cost and retreats.
Bayer ES has recently developed a digital device which is highly accurate and time efficient in detecting bed bug infestations. In this presentation the functioning, uses and limitations of the device are discussed.
