Management of twospotted spider mites (Tetranychus urticae) is examined with a mixed approach alternating conventional and biological tools with mechanical and cultural approaches. Data from field trials and grower case studies is presented, as well as a framework for proactive functional grower recommendations that can be programmed ahead of the growing season in production horticulture settings. Discussion of adoption and integration of biologicals for enhanced mite management and program efficacy is also explored with associated seasonal successes observed in the field.
